The Davidson Academy Online Speech and Debate Team recently participated at the National Speech and Debate Association National Championships with fantastic results!
Samuel C. competed in Congressional Debate (House of Representatives) and Elisa W. and Daniel K. competed in Public Forum Debate (Middle School Division).
Samuel was the first competitor ever for DAO to compete at Nationals in Congressional Debate (House of Representatives). Additionally, Samuel made elimination rounds and moved on into the quarterfinals! After a tough and stacked quarterfinal session, Samuel missed moving on into Semifinals by only two ranks.
